Curaa acquires Broome end Care Home in Essex
The Award-winning Essex care home, Broome End, has been acquired by Curaa Group - a family-owned business with a core focus on emphasising compassion, community and care in seamless person-centred care provision. This is Curaa Group Ltd.’s first care home acquisition.
The historic manor house situated amongst lush gardens can accommodate up to 35 residents and has been purchased with all staff being retained. The award-winning team at Broome End recently won the coveted “Care Home Of The Year” at the 2019 Prosper Awards for Essex County Council's care sector awards.

About Broome End Care Home
Broome End is a 120-year-old former Manor house situated on a near four-acre plot offering exceptional accommodation surrounded by wonderful serene outdoor space. This notably includes a large terrace overlooking meadows and a south-facing state-of-the-art sensory garden – all maintained to a very high standard. The home caters for 35 residents in 29 single rooms –28 of which have en-suite facilities - and three twin rooms. With resident engagement, a priority at the home, the excellent activities team plan and provide trips out, organise visiting speakers & musicians, one-on-one sessions and various other activities all regularly chosen by the residents.
